Hexthorpe Detached

On the streets in Doncaster.

Funded by the Big Lottery Fund, we work on the streets of Hexthorpe in Doncaster with local Roma Czech and Slovak young people to support them to better integrate with the local community and achieve their aspirations in the UK.

The Young People’s Project provides intensive support to Hexthorpe, by offering street-based workshops, accredited training and informal activities. The project helps young people and young adults to fulfil their aspirations, develop their skills and move towards positive destinations in their lives. TYA’s strong background and experience working with Roma communities allows youth workers to foster meaningful relationships with the community and facilitate positive changes in people’s lives.
