Let’s make it work

After plenty of hard work throughout the autumn, our Outside the Box project has reached a successful conclusion and published its new guide for young people struggling to start or return to work and their employers.

Let’s make it work is a guide to help young people and employers who want to take them on to build a positive partnership in overcoming the barriers they might face.

The project was funded by the Big Lottery’s #iWill Fund that’s being managed in Kirklees by One Community.  Long-term unemployed young people on the Talent Match programme have worked with management staff from local employers FareShare Yorkshire and Code Blue Communications to create the guide.  Your Consortium have agreed to provide graphic design and to print the guide, so that local young people, key workers and employers can make use of its ideas and advice.
