It’s been 6 months since we returned to Monk Bretton and it definitely hasn’t been 6 months wasted. Thanks to the Big Lottery Reaching Communities programme, we’ve hosted activities like Build a Bike & bike riding with Reverse The Cycle as well as plenty of activities during our summer gala including an assault course, sumo wrestling and a bungie run!
Now, even as the winter months roll around by no means does it mean we’re wrapping up in front of the fire with a decent brew and leaving you on your own. We’ve got a whole range of potential winter activities lined up and the choice is yours as to what we do. Last time we took a big group of young people skiing for 6 weeks. Will you do the same?
Become a Community Champion today and help us to organise and take part in activities and events you want to do. But don’t worry, we’re not going to drag you into the deep end unprepared. You’ll receive full training, including First Aid and Food Hygiene in order to learn how best to plan any activity.
Best of all? It’s all for FREE!
Get in touch with youth workers Julie Bamford or Thomas Gatehouse on Facebook now or give us a call/text on 07971 277157 to become a Champion and avoid missing out on a winter of your life. What we do is up to you.
