During the Easter period, we consulted with young people all across the city of Leeds to find out what the important issues for them in their local areas and what kinds of activities they would recommend. Our mobile buses went out to help us talk directly to young people where they are, running a stall at the White Rose Centre and visiting youth groups. The results from this piece of work were fed into a report for the Leeds Youth Work Partnership who is helping Leeds City Council decide what services should be provided to young people in the future. Over 300 young people completed the survey and had the chance to win £100 of high street vouchers.
Congratulations go to Gemma from Morley, who was the lucky winner of the vouchers
“When filling in the questionnaire I never thought I would win anything so winning these high street vouchers was a wonderful surprise. I was delighted to know that my opinion and thoughts had been listened to and might help with future youth provision in Leeds”.
Thanks very much
