Have your say on ‘The Big Society’

The British Youth Council wants to hear the opinions of young people aged 25 and under across the UK on the Government’s ‘Big Society’ agenda.

The Big Society is the Coalition Government vision of a society where individuals and communities have more power and responsibility, and use it to create better neighbourhoods and local services.

BYC think it’s important that politicians listen to young people’s views on the Big Society and initiatives like the National Citizen Service. Although the NCS may not be available where you live it may be introduced in the future. We will be sending the results of this survey to the Prime Minister and the Cabinet Office – the Government department responsible for making the Big Society happen. (If you take part in the survey and you can also enter a free prize draw) The deadline to have your say is Sunday 10th October by midnight. Take part here: http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/bycbiglisten
