TM Ambassadors win Lottery…over

On Monday, a group of 5 of the Talent Match Ambassadors were invited to present their ideas about why they think the project is so important to senior staff and Board members of BIG, the National Lottery Fund managing organisation. At the Lottery’s regional office in Leeds, the Ambassadors joined TYA boss Andy Clow and Your Consortium’s Sam Alexander and Charlotte McEvoy to talk about their Talent Match journey, as part of BIG’s annual fact-finding visit. The Ambassadors did a great job and UK Chair of BIG, Peter Ainsworth, was keen to thank them and point out how impressed he and his panel had been by their confidence and commitment. For Stephen, Amber, Matty and Toni, this was one of their last tasks as an Ambassador, because they are all moving on to better things. Charmaine is just starting out in her role as an Ambassador and this was the first of many opportunities for her to represent the programme.

TYA staff took part in other BIG Lottery events as part of the fact-finding visit, including a reception at Leeds Town Hall and a focus group of other Lottery stakeholders on Tuesday.
