Since April we have been to delivering C-card sessions at The Hickelton Project in Thurnscoe, who let us use their rooms on a Tuesday. The young people around the Dearne area now know we do C-card on the street and know they can get advice from us. We have also been putting on sports activities around Dearne every time we are out. Goldthorpe and Bolton young people have made two football teams and want to play other teams of young people from other areas. This is going great and they are looking forward to playing other teams. The tournament will be held in Kendray on 4th September
We have been talking about the effects of drink and drugs and smoking and how this affects your health, mind and body. There are 3 males in Bolton who, every time we see them, are happy that they have given up smoking since our work with them. I hope they keep it up!
