Since its launch on Monday, interest is growing in our Youth Vote initiative and 5,000 ballot papers have been taken out to young people in West and South Yorkshire. It’s not just young people who are keen to get involved in the Youth Vote, because several local candidates in the parliamentary elections have contacted us to say that they want to come along to a youth work session on our mobile Get On units where the Youth Vote is being discussed and talk to young people about their party’s policies and ideas about services for young people. TYA youth workers will be on hand to capture some of their ideas on video and we hope to bring you a flavour of their thoughts on the website in coming weeks.
