It’s finger lickin’ good news!

The Youth Association has been chosen by the KFC Foundation as it’s charity partner in Yorkshire and the Humber.  This fantastic news means that every KFC outlet in Yorkshire will display posters telling KFC customers about TYA and the work we do and encouraging customers to donate change in on-counter collection boxes.  As well as collecting customer donations, our friends at KFC have pledged to donate 10p for every children’s meal sold in the region and all restaurant staff fundraising events will be in our benefit.  This amazing new partnership is intended to be for the long-term and both the KFC Foundation and TYA hope it will be in place for years to come.

The Youth Association was chosen by KFC’s restaurant staff across Yorkshire in an online vote earlier in the summer and our partnership with KFC is set to go ‘live’ next week, with posters and collection boxes being displayed from Monday August 13th.  As our partnership develops, we really hope to find out more about what matters to KFC staff in our region and to keep them well informed about the work we are doing and how it impacts on our communities.

As a brand, KFC is really popular with many of the young people we work with and TYA is thrilled to have KFC as the first corporate partner in our 114 year history.
