Mel’s made it

Long-time Talent match Ambassador, Mel has finally secured the career-job she’s been looking for since university didn’t work out for her.  As she starts her higher-level apprenticeship that will lead to a permanent Executive Officer job in the Civil Service, she has spent a little time reflecting on the changes that Talent Match and being an Ambassador have created and the difference it has made to her.

Mel told us that she was originally ‘signed up’ for Talent Match by her friend and almost didn’t bother turning up to her first session.  Her friend pestered enough and Mel took the first step that changed her path.  She said, ‘It’s a good job I did give in because I probably wouldn’t be where I am today if I didn’t. It turned out this “random” programme was Talent Match’.
