Local solicitors ‘Minster Law’ recently teamed up with The Youth Association to take on the infamous Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge. On Saturday 10th August seven Minster Law employees and a youth worker completed the challenge in 11 hours and 20 minutes and raised a total of £1664.50 for the charity. It was the most difficult challenge they’d ever faced!

The relationship between TYA and Minster Law has been growing for some time now. This initiative was developed by Minster Law employee James Isaac-Barker, who previously ran 10k for The Youth Association and encouraged his employer to get involved. Minster Law is a major employer in Wakefield, having created over 400 jobs in the area. Through its staff sponsorship scheme employees are encouraged to choose local charities they want to raise money for. James nominated The Youth Association, as he wanted to contribute to positive changes in the lives of local young people: “I believe it is my turn to try and give something back. Hopefully I can contribute something towards young people having the opportunity to reach their potential despite today’s economic climate”.
