Tabbi's Story
Making Progress with Thrive 360
My journey with Thrive 360 began when my college offered me a chance to join. To be honest, my first thought was to turn it down and stick to my comfort zone. However, something encouraged me to say yes, and I’m so glad I did.
A big reason I stayed and felt supported was the staff, Katie and Charlie. They are genuinely kind and created a safe environment. I felt comfortable enough to be honest with them about my struggles, which really helped my progress.
Before starting the program, my life felt very limited. I dealt with severe anxiety that made it hard to leave the house. I felt disconnected from my community, trapped in a cycle I couldn’t escape.
Through Thrive, I’ve gained a whole new perspective. The most important lesson I’ve learned is to not be ashamed of my struggles. I’ve come to see them as part of my story and something valuable to learn from, instead of something to hide. I also found practical tools like the “Circle of Control,” which has been a breakthrough for me. It was so helpful that I shared it with my close friends and my mum. Watching it helps my family with their own challenges has been one of the most rewarding parts of this experience.
Today, life is entirely different. I finally feel like I have a clear mind and can live for myself instead of being held back by fear. I’m no longer just getting by, I’m making progress.
