Groups of young people from Barnsley have come together to raise awareness for IDAS (Independent Domestic Abuse Services) through a social action campaign aimed at highlighting local support services for those experiencing domestic abuse.
The young people took to their community, putting up IDAS awareness stickers in shops, businesses, and community centres across Barnsley. This initiative, led by youth workers and supported by the young people, sought to ensure that those in an abusive relationship know where to turn for help and support.
By spreading awareness in public spaces, the campaign aims to make vital resources more accessible and visible for those who may need them.
If you or someone you know is in an abusive relationship, #SpeakUp. For help and support, contact IDAS at 03000 110 110.
Together, we can make a difference and ensure that support is always within reach.
