Exploring gender through youth work
Future Man supports boys and young men to explore masculinity, strengthen positive identity, and develop healthier attitudes and behaviours. Through trusted youth work relationships, we create safe spaces for honest conversation, reflection and support, helping young men navigate pressures, challenge harmful narratives and make informed choices
Future Man is our positive masculinity programme, designed to support boys and young men navigating the complex realities of modern life.
We offer support in further education colleges, schools, community settings and through street-based engagement. Delivered by experienced male youth workers, the programme combines relationship-based youth work with targeted workshops and group interventions. Topics often include emotional wellbeing, identity, peer pressure, online influence, relationships, aspiration, and the impact of harmful gender stereotypes.
Our aim is not simply to reduce risk, but to help young men build stronger foundations for adulthood. We help young men make safer, more informed choices and develop into confident, respectful and emotionally resilient adults.
Future Man supports participants to improve emotional wellbeing, develop healthier attitudes and behaviours and strengthen their sense of purpose and positive identity.
